It is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure they hold a valid passport, pre-departure testing if applicable, all required travel documents including visas, and comply with the entry, exit, transit, or other requirements of the countries they are travelling to.
Passengers may be refused entry into a country if they do not possess the required travel documents. Batam Ferry Tickets will not be liable for any consequences arising from not having valid or required travel documents.
All passengers travelling to Indonesia must have a passport with at least 6 months validity from the date of entry.
Some nationalities can enter Indonesia without a visa for short visits, while others may be eligible for Visa on Arrival. Please check the categories below.
Visa-free entry is generally permitted for tourism purposes only for up to 30 days. Travellers visiting Indonesia for business purposes should apply for the appropriate visa.
A 7-day Visa on Arrival is available for visitors to the Riau Islands at Rp250,000. This visa is only available for purchase offline.

Countries not listed above are required to apply for a visa in advance at the Indonesian Embassy.
If you are holding an Indonesian passport and travelling for social visits, visa is not required.

Singapore Permanent Residents with Blue IC from countries eligible for Visa on Arrival are now exempt from obtaining a VOA when visiting Batam, Bintan, and Balai Karimun, Indonesia.
This exemption allows eligible travellers to stay for up to 4 days, counted from the day of entry.
